What I'm Loving Lately

So, Justin turned 30 on March 3rd.  I surprised him with a pair of boots similar to these.  I bought them the Saturday before his birthday and couldn't wait till Thursday to give them to him.  He looks so good wearing them.  My handsome cattleman/coach :)

Thank you Amy Hunt for starting my addiction to these chips.  Another thing I must purchase every time I enter Target.

I know I have "loved" this already but this is the best gloss EVER!!  I have the shade Currant and it gives my lips a natural healthy shine!

Yet another Clinique favorite.  This is the skin illuminator and it adds a great sparkle to my skin.

I love this place every day but I recently brought home some feta cheese sauce from our last visit.  Sooooo good!  We always go to the one that is located across from Baptist.

I will turn 30 on the 31st and this is my birthday present.  I got 3 charms with Cooper, Avery, and Justin's name on them.  Check out thevintagepearl.com

Favorite shade of O. P. I.
My toes love it!

SOAP BOX!

I know some people probably get tired of me talking about this issue but oh well.  Skin cancer has become a very important issue to me in more ways than one.  I have had friends who have lost loved ones due to skin cancer.  I have also had several issues with cancerous spots due to sun exposure.  I have probably paid more to my dermatologist than I have to Wesley Medical Center after having two kids!  I'm still paying on that derm bill by the way!  I am paying big time for all of those sunburns I got and all of those countless trips to the tanning bed.  My dermatologist told me that I would be coming back to have spots removed for the rest of my life as a result of all of my OVERexposure to the sun and tanning beds.  With that being said, I have grown to love sunless tanning products.  I have tried everything under the sun.....no pun intended.  Here are some of my favorite products.

This is what I am currently using.  It leaves a pretty shimmer to your skin.

Sprays are always great!

Got some of this from Sephora.  Great product!

LOVE CLINIQUE!

Another great product....Allure thinks so too!

I like the Neutrogena products too!

I am not trying to push my views about tanning beds on anyone.  Research does prove that your chances of developing melanoma or another type of skin cancer jumps by 60% to 75% if you tan twice a week!  YIKES!!  Doesn't sound worth it to me.  Simple fact is if you stick to using this

Stay out of this

You won't end up looking like this when you are 40

If you do worship the sun, go see this guy

Ok.....that is all :)

Whatta Man

In honor of Valentine's Day, I will gush about my fantastic husband!  Here are just a few things I adore about him......in no particular order.

1.  Nice legs.........he can get the best tan and loves to remind me about it.

2.  #1 father........our kids LOVE their daddy and who could blame them.  He loves to kiss, play, snuggle, and spend time with them.  I love the fact that he hasn't totally ruled out more kids with the insanity our two can bring sometimes.  I love the look on his face when he watches our kids.

3.  Mr. Personality........he can handle himself in any situation he is out in.  He relates to all types of people and can make almost anyone laugh.  He jokes that he will run for a political office when he retires......I honestly think it's a great idea.  He would get my vote :)

4.  A HUGE help..........how lucky am I to have a husband that helps me with everything.  From cooking, cleaning, kids, and everything in between.  I am so glad he isn't the old fashioned type that thinks he should park it in a chair and have me wait on him hand and foot.  I don't think so.....OK

5.  Frugal........he NEVER buys himself anything.  I literally have to beg him to buy himself the most basic things like shoes!  He is always thinking of a way to make extra money too.  He also doesn't believe in giving me an "allowance" but sometimes maybe he should.....haha.....really

6.  BIG heart.........he is just a big emotional mess but in a good way.....does that make sense?  Anyway, he is not afraid to shed a tear here and there.  He is so passionate about some things and you know without a doubt when something touches his heart.

7.  He likes to wear pink......a lot.  He looks good in it too.

8.  After two babies in two years he still looks at me like he did when we first started dating.  The stretch marks, extra fat, and wrinkles don't really matter to him and if they do he hides it pretty dang well.  He deals with my constant insecurities and always tells me how beautiful he thinks I am.

9.  He really likes to spend time with me and the kids.  That may sound weird but there are men that would rather be doing other things......GASP!

10.  My dad loves him.  Sometimes, I think he loves him more than me

11.  He is an Ole Miss fan.

12.  He actually reads this blog.....and likes it

13.  When I need a nap or just some alone times he always lets me take it.  He knows I will be in a much better mood afterward.

14.  He is smokin hot and chose little ol' me to be his wife.......SCORE

I love you Justin Cooley

Pretty playtime

Just wanted to share a few pictures from this beautiful Sunday....

Action shot

Giving her bro a little push

Oh, she thinks she is so BIG

So pretty

Ok, so I "trimmed" Cooper's hair this past week because he was doing that twitch with his head to get the hair out of his eyes.  Anyway, I got it a little crooked the first go round so I then had to fix it.  It's pretty bad.....really bad actually.  My dad said he looks like Buster Brown.  When I saw this picture I immediatley thought of that kid from the movie The Little Giants that had the super thick glasses and blew the snot bubble.  Mommy is sorry Cooper :(

What I'm diggin these days

Here are a few things I am diggin these days.

My Steve Madden riding boots.  I have the light brown pair.  I love them and don't think they will EVER go out of style.

My apothecary jars.  I only need one more to complete my collection.  I can't wait to put them on the mantle and fill them with cute and unique stuff for different holidays.

Having a little girl comes with certain perks like finding cute smocked dresses.  I am in search of a precious Easter dress for Avery.

I am already in search of a new boat tote from L. L. Bean.  These are the best bags!  I don't know why I put so much thought into what color I will get.....decisions!!

BEST CHAP STICK EVER!!

My cuticles thank me daily for this stuff.

My lips really like this stuff too.  I know a bonus is coming up so that is just a good excuse to buy two tubes and score some free goodies!

I've already started stocking up on this.  This helps my legs not look completely translucent during the summer.

I love this Internet radio site.  I have programmed it to play all of my favorites from Annie Lennox to Prince with a little Hall and Oates mixed in.  Don't judge.....you know you like Daryl
